vintage 1950s STETSON hat in box - plastic display Christmas Santa Claus box
Brown plastic miniature Stetson hat in ovular hat box with Stetson banding and cherry Santa Claus print, circa 1950s vintage,.
Apparently, these seasonal miniatures could be purchased for the value of a hat, then redeemed by the receipt for a hat of their choosing (Not that this is still valid!).
Hat is a fedora with band, marked "STETSON" on the underside.
Box is still, coated paper with gold logo on top, gold edge banding and "STETSON" around the lid, six Santas along the body.
Hat is in excellent condition. Box is in very good or better condition- very slight dings along the bottom edge, a couple of very slight marks.
A very cool piece of advertising!

box is 4- 1/4" x 3- 5/8", 2- 11/16" high
hat is approximately 3- 3/8" wide, 1- 5/8" high
