Butter yellow "Original Ballantyne Intarsia" button front cashmere cardigan with high neckline, 3/4 length sleeves, circa 1950s. Various butterfly profiles and leaves throughout the front body panels in slightly brighter yellow, cream, sagey -seafoam green. Twelve button front - the top few sit very high on the neck and are not meant to close. Double ply ribbed placket and hem, ribbed cuffs. Spring weight, impossibly soft.

Condition is excellent - this appears very seldom - if ever worn. A rare find!
