Scarce Dirk Bikkembergs color block shirt, circa 1988- 1992 vintage.

Low mock neckline, long sleeves, straight cuffs and hem.
Mostly black, with olive and blue panels on the front right body and both sides of the right sleeve.
Mid weight micro knit jersey with subtle sheen to the woven fabric.
In very good to excellent condition- a couple of very minor snags, no staining, holes or other damage.

Dirk Bikkembergs is one of the Antwerp Six, six highly regarded designers who graduated from The Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp in 1982. The other five Belgian designers are Ann Demeulemeester, Dries van Noten, Dirk van Saene, Walter van Beirendonck and Marina Yee. The first Dirk Bikkembergs men's collection was shown in 1988.
Early pieces are very hard to come by, and highly sought among collectors.
